Under the Same Sky is a collection that blends traditional Filipino garments with the tastes and style that I developed while born and raised in America, living under a first-generation immigrant Filipino household. My first visit to the Philippines and the colors changing in the sky during the flight were inspirations for this collection. I was lost in a foreign land that felt oddly familiar, and that feeling was something I would never forget. Despite being hundreds of miles apart, this collection connects two pieces of land under the same sky that I can call home.
